Rates are per person, per night, and include three meals (dinner on the arrival day, breakfast and a sack lunch the next day, etc.). Sorry, no pets are allowed. Rates do not include applicable local occupancy or sales taxes (approximately 10%). Required deposit is $100 per person. Deposits are forfeited if cancellation is not actually received within 15 days of the first day of the reservation. We will refund your deposit in the event we conclude local conditions prevent your entry. Please let us know of dietary restrictions (e.g. vegetarian, no dairy, etc.) well in advance! Cabins include winter bed linens. Bunkroom guests must bring sleeping bags - we have pillows.
Tioga Pass Resort’s surrounding mountains are remote and wild, particularly during winter. Skiers and riders planning to use the backcountry should be comfortable on at least advanced-intermediate (blue-diamond) runs. We can assist you in obtaining a qualified guide. Guests are responsible for providing their own avalanche gear, including beacon, shovel, and probe. Guests should expect and be prepared to face the full gamut of Sierra winter conditions – from blizzard conditions to sunny blue skies. Guests must execute a Release and Waiver of Liability.
Please remember to email us at reservations@tiogapassresort.com before you leave your home so we can discuss current conditions. On the day of your arrival, meet us at the road closure on Highway 120 (approximately 3 miles west of US395). Please be at the meeting point and prepared to go at 10am. We will drive you to the snowline, and then will do our best to carry your gear all of the way to the Resort. Please pack small and watertight with a minimum of hanging/attached items. Guests must travel over snow under their own power – initial access to the Resort generally requires between two and four miles (although six miles is possible) of moderate uphill and flat terrain.
